Erin Brown is a public relations specialist interested in the intersection of communications and public interest. She currently executes public relations, marketing and administrative tasks to support our clients and business activities. Her previous professional communications experience has ranged from interning at a gender justice non-profit in South Africa to supporting the Los Angeles Sparks' public relations team at the STAPLES Center.
Erin received her master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California, where she focused on storytelling in the digital world. Her master's thesis examined the complexities of using social activism as a branding technique in the era of socially conscious consumption. Erin also received her bachelor's degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Journalism and Media Studies from Duke University.
This golden retriever that refuses to retrieve is Erin's best friend. Although Ranger remains in her hometown, she regularly gets a dose of dog love during video chats with her family.
1984 became Erin's favorite book when she discovered it in seventh grade, and she's read it at least once per year since then. Its thematic discussion on the power of language even formed the focal point of her college admissions essay!
Erin is a fervent supporter of her undergraduate alma mater's sports teams and can commonly be found yelling at the Duke basketball team through her television screen.
