Carol loves historical fiction. It brings history to life in a way that nonfiction never can. And NY Times Best Selling author Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series doesn’t disappoint.

“If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. It’s what makes it hard that makes it great.” That was Tom Hanks’ line in the women’s baseball movie, “A League of Their Own.” Carol thinks it applies to skiing too. She has been doing it for 30+ years. It’s not simple, but it sure is sweet. So is après ski, which you can’t legitimately do until after you ski!
