PR/Marketing Account Executive
(Full-Time)
SKC, Inc. is a Los Angeles-based boutique virtual public relations and digital marketing agency servicing a unique blend of technology and Asian-related clients. We are seeking a public relations and marketing account executive to support us on a myriad of client activities, from big-picture strategy and planning, to serving as day-to-day client liaison, to content development, and tasks execution. Responsibilities:
- Assist with strategic planning, project management, and help execute marketing/PR activities to achieve results and positive outcomes.
- Develop plans, content, copy and visuals (e.g. timelines, fact sheets, releases, social posts, website content and more) for clients.
- Manage client social media accounts, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive monthly progress reports.
- Event management for agency's ongoing virtual thought leadership series and additional client events (in-person and virtual).
- Support client relationships, participate in client meetings and email communications.
- Coordinate and liaise with other SKC team members to produce client deliverables.
- Support SKC marketing, newsletter and social media activities.
- Prepare monthly activity reports for clients.
- Additional administrative support tasks as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Excellent writing and communications skills, creative thinker and strategic problem-solver.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and efficient multi-tasker who consistently meets deadlines with a can-do, positive attitude.
- Adept at content marketing, public relations, and/or social media campaigns
- Working knowledge of social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Exposure or willingness to learn about HubSpot, Cision, Sprout Social, Canva, Envato, and Business Wire online platforms.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and project management systems (Asana, Teams, etc.)
- Comfortable and self-motivated working as a virtual, remote team member
- Can provide approximately 40 hours per week working on Pacific time zone
- Working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals and proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva or other graphic design software is a plus
- Knowledge of Asian language(s), or interest in Asia and Asian-related ventures is a plus
- Preferably three years in marketing/PR, holder of a bachelor’s degree in any of the following majors: Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, English, etc.
