Mary Placido is a seasoned communications professional with more than ten years of public relations experience across technology, healthcare, and clean energy sectors. She brings a strong foundation in strategic planning, writing, project management, and media and analyst relations.

Her experience includes work with both established brands and emerging companies, helping clients build visibility and credibility in competitive markets. Past clients include Infosys, NRG Solar, ZigBee Alliance, Kaiser Permanente, Equinix, Yahoo!, and the Canary Foundation.

Mary also has deep expertise in Asian communications, supporting Asia-based companies launching or expanding in the U.S., as well as U.S. organizations engaging Asian-American audiences. Her work in this area includes programs for the Singapore Economic Development Board, Contact Singapore, United Commercial Bank (now East West Bank), and Verizon Wireless.

Most recently, Mary served as a media manager in the technology practice at GolinHarris, a global public relations firm. She previously worked as an account executive at Panache Communications, a boutique PR agency, where she developed a strong foundation in account management and execution.
