Erin Brown

Erin Brown is a public relations professional with a passion for the dynamic intersection of communications and public interest. At SKC, she serves as senior account executive driving day-to-day client deliverables, media relations, and digital marketing activities, and also support SKC's content creation and business development. Highlights at SKC include her leadership on the award-winning Infocomm integrated communications campaign for Taiwan Excellence and milestone events for E.SUN Bank and Taiwan Expo, and developing refined messaging across client brands and products.
In addition to agency work, Erin has also served as an in-house communications manager for two early-stage technology startups in the micromobility and real estate industries. Her other past communications experience includes higher education, e-commerce, sports & entertainment, and non-profit organizations.
Erin received her master's degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California, where she focused on storytelling in the digital world. Her master's thesis examined the complexities of using social activism as a branding technique in the era of socially conscious consumption. She also received her bachelor's degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Journalism and Media Studies from Duke University.

Meet Churro!
Erin devotes most of her free time to her fur baby Churro, a sassy and comedic Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Churro enjoys digging giant holes on the beach, barking at the neighbors, and pretending he's never eaten a meal in his life.
Bedside Reading
1984 became Erin's favorite book when she discovered it in seventh grade, and she has read it at least once yearly since then. Simply flip open its pages to discover why the power of language has long been her passion.

Duke Athletics
Erin is a fervent supporter of her undergraduate alma mater's sports teams and can commonly be found yelling at the Duke basketball team through her television screen.
